Terms and Conditions
The placing of any order at this site or via Fax, Post, email or other means indicates your acceptance of the terms listed below. Golden Displays reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time without notice.
Payment can make by Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard), Direct Bank Deposit, or Cheque payable to Golden Displays. All payment to be made in advance of the goods being dispatched unless other arrangements have been agreed.
Imported goods are subject to currency fluctuations, and shipping delays. As a result, Item availability and prices are subject to change at any time. A quotation may be sought prior to the placement of an order.
All prices are subject to GST.
2. Shipping Charge & Time
Custom made and out of stock items will require a period of delivery leadtime.
All transportation charges, are to be paid by the customer, unless agreed otherwise, in writing, on the initial order.

3. Warranty & Service
Golden Displays is your responsive & reliable signage supplier. We believe that our products meet the demanding standards required for effective in-store display and promotion. To support our belief we offer a limited one year warranty in addition to any and all statutory protections.
Effective from 1 February 2007. This warranty supersedes all other warranty forms of an earlier date or undated.
1. Purchaser's Statutory Rights: The rights (including implied rights) and remedies, which the owner has under the Trade Practices Act and other State consumer laws, are additional to the benefits conferred by this Golden Displays’ Warranty.
2. Golden Displays’ Warranty: Subject to the terms and conditions herein, Golden Displays warrants that it will repair or, at its option, replace Golden Displays products where such Golden Displays product is defective by reason of faulty workmanship or materials, free of charge for parts and labour.
These products include, but are not restricted to:
*LED Open Sign - Warranty for 1 year, from the date of purchase on parts and labour.
*LED Moving Message Display - Warranty for 1 year, from the date of purchase on parts and labour.
*Super Slim Aluminum Light Box - Warranty for 1 year, from the date of purchase on parts and labour.
*Super Slim Acrylic Light Box - Warranty for 1 year, from the date of purchase on parts and labour.
*Remote controls - Warranty for 1 year, from the date of purchase on parts and labour. There is no warranty for included batteries.
Golden Displays may elect to replace rather than repair an item where repair is considered uneconomical. Replacement will be made with the same or similar item as available.
If a replacement is required at a time where the same model is no longer available then at the option of Golden Displays a model of equivalent or higher specifications will be offered as a replacement. If replacement is not commercially possible, or repair or replacement cannot be accomplished within a reasonable time, Golden Displays may at its sole option refund the purchase price of the product with due adjustment for depreciation arising from actual use. This is in full satisfaction of its warranty obligation.
This Golden Displays Warranty:
In respect of Golden Displays products described herein which are distributed by Golden Displays and purchased in Australia from an authorized Golden Displays dealer; and
If the said Golden Displays products have been installed and used in accordance with the instructions displayed on the unit or in the relevant instruction manual; and
When proof of purchase in the form of a receipt from an authorised Golden Displays dealer is presented when requesting Golden Displays Warranty Service; and
Is void where service is undertaken by an unauthorised service centre or any tampering of any nature in respect of the said Golden Displays products by unauthorised persons.
Contact your selling dealer for details of authourised Golden Displays service centres.
Provision of warranty service is on a return to base basis.
Golden Displays store pick-up service calls may be made where the owner lives within 15 kilometres of an authorised Golden Displays service centre. A travel fee will be charged on service calls outside that area or the owner must send the product, at the owner’s expense and risk, to and from the authorised Golden Displays service centre.
5. PURCHASE REGISTRATION:
Owners of Golden Displays products should return the Warranty Registration Form to Golden Displays, and any change of address or ownership must be notified to Golden Displays at the specified address.
6. VARIATIONS: No employees or servants of an authorized service center of Golden Displays have authority to add to or alter the terms of this Golden Displays Warranty. The above warranty conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
7. EXCLUSIONS: This Golden Displays Warranty excludes:
a) Subject to the purchaser's rights referred to herein, Golden Displays hereby excludes and disclaims to the maximum extent permitted by law any and all other liability in respect of the product;
b) This Golden Displays Warranty does not apply to:
i) Damage caused by accident, misuse or negligence, including by leaking batteries, foreign objects or substances not normally associated with the product; damage caused by scratching, chipping, staining, rust, corrosion, moisture, steam or heat from appliances; damage caused by unusual or non-traditional use, positioning or location of product.
ii) Products repaired or tampered with by anyone other than Golden Displays or its authorised service centre;
iii) Any faults relating to or arising from any defect in the product which was known to you (or end user) at the time of purchase including any pre-existing conditions;
iv) Products where the serial number is removed or defaced;
v) Insurance of any product in transit or when in the possession of Golden Displays or any other party; and
vi) Any circumstances which constitute an "Act of God" (e.g., earthquakes, typhoons, flash floods, etc.) or which would normally be covered by normal household insurance; and
c) In the event that the owner is not in attendance at the address notified to Golden Displays or its authorised service center during normal business hours and an appointment has been made with the owner for provision of service, additional charges may be made at the prevailing rates for each service call made or attempted.
